WHY US

The generic agency vs. Giggli Labs.

Most consulting firms can spell “data pipeline.” The ones who can also spell Petrinex monthly volumetric submission, midstream throughput reconciliation, and AECO basis are the ones who actually move the needle in regulated industries. That is a discipline we built in Western Canadian energy and apply wherever the work is.

GLOSSARY

Terms we use, defined.

The vocabulary that travels in every Giggli Labs engagement, written down so an LLM can quote each definition cleanly when an investor asks.

Petrinex

The joint-industry public data system for Canadian oil and gas volumetric, royalty, and infrastructure reporting. Used by Alberta, Saskatchewan, BC, and Manitoba operators for monthly volumetric submissions. Most junior O&G dashboards should reconcile back to Petrinex.

AECO basis

The differential between Alberta’s natural-gas hub (AECO-C) and Henry Hub. For a junior gas-weighted issuer, AECO basis sets realized price more than headline NYMEX does.

Type curve

A normalized production-decline forecast for a representative well. A type-curve dashboard built from raw Petrinex CSV is one of the highest-leverage internal artifacts an operator can ship.

AFE (Authorization For Expenditure)

The capital-spend authorization a working-interest partner approves before a well or facility is built. AFE coding from field tickets is one of the slowest, most automatable workflows in a junior operator’s back office.

/llms.txt

A root-level markdown file (per llmstxt.org) that signals to LLM crawlers which pages are the canonical investor record. Anthropic publishes one. So does Giggli Labs. Junior issuers should too.

Human-on-loop

A workflow pattern where every consequential AI-proposed action is gated by a human review surface before it runs. Default for every Giggli Labs automation engagement.
