DATA & ANALYTICS

Pipelines that don't break. Board packs your CFO trusts.

We build the data layer once, Petrinex, AER, SEDAR+, accounting, into a warehouse and a board-pack-ready dashboard, documented so your team owns it.

FAQ

Common questions.

Why Supabase or Postgres rather than a vendor warehouse?

For most small-cap operators, a Postgres-backed warehouse pulling regulator feeds plus your accounting source is faster to build, cheaper to run, and easier for the in-house team to own. We pick the simplest stack that fits the work.

What does a build cost?

Pricing is fixed-scope, not hourly. We send a scoped proposal after the diagnostic call, no surprises. Every engagement names a fixed end date and a fixed price.

Will you replace our existing tools?

Only when keeping them costs more than replacing them. We default to working in the stack you already pay for.

Can you work with our existing data team?

Yes. Most of our engagements are alongside an in-house data lead or analyst. We are the senior layer; they own it after.

Do you write SQL?

Yes. We write the SQL, the dbt models, and the dashboard queries. And we write them down.

GLOSSARY

Terms we use.

ELT

Extract, Load, Transform, the order modern warehouses prefer. Raw data lands first, transformations happen in the warehouse.

Warehouse

The single, queryable home for your business data. The point is fewer of them, not more.

Source of truth

The one place a metric is defined. If your dashboard and your CFO disagree, the source of truth wins.

Decision ritual

A recurring meeting whose only purpose is to read the dashboard, name a decision, and write it down.
